MOCA, the Morgan Open Competition Association is a relatively new association, founded in 2002. Our purpose is to acknowledge and salute Morgans and Part-Morgans in Open Competition, all disciplines, all levels of competition. We also recognize and salute the Family Morgan Horse and the Versatile Morgan Horse in non-competitive activities. At this point in time, membership in MOCA is free, since we are starting off as an internet-based group and thus have a low overhead. Longterm goals include establishing Awards for MOCA members horses; Year End Awards and Individual Awards are two of the venues being considered. When we evolve to this point, a dues structure will be set up and kept as nominal as possible in order to offer any services such as these. | |
